Please accept the condolences of Grassroots International. Anne St. Goar, a friend, supporter and donor. She was a contributor from the day we opened in 1984 until 2009. She believed in the right to land, food and water for peasant and indigenous people living in the Global South. Her consistent contributions empowered global grassroots movements organizing for these rights. Our thoughts and warmest wishes go to her family.

Anne was a delightful person, a wonderful colleague and a caring physician. She was a pioneer who never saw herself as a pioneer, only as a physician. I often think of her.
