Miceli, Lawrence A. Age 90, of Watertown, formerly of Somerville, passed away peacefully entering eternal rest on Sunday, July 27th, 2014. Larry was the son of Salvatore and Angelina Miceli, brother of Nancy, Bob, Sal, Joe, Rose (all pre-deceased) and beloved grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and cousin of many. He was the devoted and adoring husband of Candida (Connie), pre-deceased, after 63 years as an inseparable and loving couple. He is also survived by his children Larry, Robert and Nancy, Larry's spouse Kathy, Robert's spouse Jane, 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and his beloved caretaker and companion Mary. Larry was a chef with the Sheraton Corporation at the Hotel Beaconsfield, executive chef with Raytheon in Lexington, chef at the Colonial Inn in Concord and chef with the Concord Caterers of Concord and Burlington. Larry loved being with family and friends, fishing, drawing, eating and telling stories. He was devoted to his wife Connie and was at his best caring for others. He was the last of his family's generation. The family extends a very special thank you to the doctors, surgical ICU nurses and staff of Mount Auburn Hospital for the loving care given to dad. Wow Nancy I can’t believe that it’s been over 6 years already. Your Dad was a gentle man, kind, caring. Always something cooking. I know how hard it is to lose a parent, I still miss them both, I’m sure you do as well. I had a lot of fun, iI think most of our “set of beads” had tons of fun together. God bless you and yours forever and always t

To Kathy and Larry and all of your family,

I so enjoyed my visits with you and your Dad (and Connie) at their house every June! He was such a quiet, gentleman as he listened and heard our laughter and stories. He didn't have much choice!?!

I loved him and I love you very much,

Cousin Mary

Mr Miceli was a true leader of young men, he is one mentor I remember as an understanding and giving person to young boy scouts. May you rest in peace and never be forgotten as a true role model we all looked up to. Bob Laurie
