LAWRENCE RESCA Obituary
"Archie" Captain Chelsea Fire Department, retired, suddenly, November 1st. Beloved husband of 62 years to Virginia (Nee). Devoted father of Kevin Resca of Guilford, NH, Virginia Reardon and her husband Edward of Falmouth, Paula Konieczko and her husband John Halbert of Foxboro, Jo-Anne Kenny and her husband Michael of Wakefield and the late Linda Murphy. Greatly missed by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Also survived by his sister Paula Blake of Winthrop. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Thursday, November 6th at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in Our Lady of Grace Church, 59 Nichols St., Chelsea at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8 PM with a Prayer Service at 7 PM. Services will conclude with interment with Military Honors at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA at 2:45 PM. Expressions of sympathy in his name may be made to Our Lady of Grace Church, 59 Nichols Street, Chelsea, MA 02150. Late United States Marine Corp. Veteran of World War II and member of Chelsea K of C Council #83.

I was so shocked to hear of his passing. I am so sorry. Larry has been a presence at Our Lady of Grace for as long as I can remember. He will be greatly missed. You are all in my prayers.

Our deepest sympathies from the Mahoneys of Chelsea. Arnold was a poker buddy for many years with our father and we have fond memories of their weekly games occasionally at our house. Also memories of his mother and father in Chelsea. Helen was a great lady and close friends to our grandmother. Paula and family ... Our deepest sympathies. Chelsea and OLG have lost a good man.
