I'd been reluctant to share my fathers info which I still care to not discuss.
My father died 2017, however I myself frequent the Wollaston beach sewimming area @ the Marina bay end.
I certainly thank you and your efforts when you were in Quincy both maintaining & enhancing its historic, & recreational areas Mike.

My sincerly deepest condolences Michael.
My father served with your father as (iirc) recorded in the library congresses recount of those days in the book "Scouts & Raiders". My father never spoke of it till his waning days but scouts & raiders bacame the "UDT" teams. Otherwise known as UnderWaterDemolitions(UDT) teams, team #7. I doubt he was delusional, he'd given me local newspaper articles & associated pictures in his last decade on this planet. My father was very personal & such about his wartime exploits, but became forthcoming in his later years. If you'd care to see or hear about it please have no reservations. I've researched it myself being an enthusiast, and having VNam conflict & its USA policing era pals growing thinner& thinner as time passes.

It's been six years since Frank's passing. I just want to give my condolences to Frank's family and let you know that he and I were friends at St. Ann's grade school back in the the day. For some reason I always remember Frank wearing a brown leather Jacket and combing his hair back in the boys room. He was a funny and friendly guy. I moved to NJ in 1962 and never heard about him again until he passed away. See you later Frankie!!

Dear Bellotti Family,
Please accept my deepest condolences at this most difficult time. I always thought Frank was like a sun, his presence lighted the place & his loving kindness warmed our heart. Early Saturday mornings he would come to the Bahai center & turn on the heat so that when the students & volunteers for the English class would arrive they'd be comfortable. He was very selfless. He would help & give of himself generously. He loved to be of service & everyone loved him. I remember him praying for a friend he had lost, such heart, such kindness. Frankie fulfilled one of the highest callings. He was a devoted brother to all he met. He demonstrated brotherhood with his kindness and attention as a way of life. I remember growing up on Wollaston Hill and having a dog who always seemed to run away. She always ended up at the Bellotti's. Frankie would bring her back, but not before giving her something to eat.

I had the pleasure of meeting Frank several years ago at a concert - just two strangers enjoying classical music. We began to talk during a break, and right away it was obvious to me what a kind and bright man he was. The thing that impressed me the most was the way he truly listened. Frank made that event better just by being there. I later learned that he did that a lot.
I send my sincere sympathies to his family and his many friends. Frank, rest in peace - and thanks for making the world better wherever you went.
