I was very saddened to hear tha Mr. Prescott Thompson has passed away. I had the honor of meeting him back in the 1960's when my parents rented an apartment from him in Dorchester. I was pretty young then but I remember that he was very kind and always had time to talk to the kids in the neighborhood. My prayers go out to his family.

Uncle Ricky was my funniest uncle. He always had a song for you in his Unforgettable Nat King Cole like voice. The jokes were his trademark. My fond memories are of him and Aunt Joyce babysitting me and my sister Harriet before they had their own children. Later he encouraged and supported me when we worked together at the Jewish Memorial Hospital.
The parties, cookouts, and Steppin' Out are the good times I remember.
Uncle Ricky will be missed by all of us who knew him well. His memory will live forever in my heart.
May You Rest In Peace.

My deepest sympathy goes out to you. Do not think that you can never be happy again. Be assured that Jehovah God cares for you and He is willing, and ready to come to the aid of those who earnestly look to him for help.
