I just watched Sing it on, and while I didnt know Kevin his passion and sweet nature were evident from the show. I wish his family all the best, the impact of his life on those of his friends is evident and he will clearly be very missed by those that loved and knew him. I hope his family find some comfort in knowing that he touched many lives, those who knew him personally and those who saw him in the series.

I've been thinking about you a lot over the past few weeks, because I know it's coming up on the one year mark. It sucks that people never realize the impact they have on people's lives. I know we were never great friends, but you were someone I saw every school day for five years. You were one of the most genuine people I have ever met. From turning around in eighth grade chorus just to annoy me, to surviving latin and chemistry, to sassing me about how I wasn't allowed to harmonize with you because it "wasn't duet week on American Idol", to begging me to play a song on ukelele even though I told you a million times I didn't know how to play the uke.
I have always thought of you fondly. I just wish you saw how many people miss you.

Although I never received the honor of meeting him personally, it was easy for me to see how truly kind, selfless and genuine he was. I never knew Kevin personally, but like many others I heard about his passing on the show Sing It On and my heart is broken for his friends and family. I feel the world has truly lost someone special. You are all in my prayers tonight, and I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Kevin is not gone, he has just changed rooms. Yes, he left his physical body here. This is the physical plain. But Kevin simply moved to the NEXT plain, the spiritual plain. And, in the not too distant future, the two ( physical and spiritual) will be reunited again. Never to be separated again. He will be whole and healed and healthy. He will never again be divided, he will continue to grow and learn for all eternity. Yes, he is MISSED, but he and his loved ones WILL be reunited.

RIP Kevin. I haven't been in South Boston for a while, I returned today and heard about your passing. When I heard your name I figured it was someone else that I didnt know. It is truly unbelievable. We played basketball and hockey together years ago. You always showed up with a big smile and a big heart, you also put a smile on my face numerous times. I really am in disbelief. Depression is a serious issue, that is so easily hidden... no one wants to admit they are struggling w/ their own mind.. He was discontent, there was nothing anyone could do to change that. But I truly believe, he is as happy as he's ever been. I recently lost 2 of the closet people to me with in a 3 month span... I read a book that said given the choice to come back, they'd choose to stay in Heaven, because they are the best and happiest version of themselves and at such peace. Divine Alignment was the book, please read it. It brought me a lot of comfort - plus kept my mind off the nightmare I was in the middle of. I believe they are as happy as they've ever been.. it just stinks for those of us left behind... I will ask God and Kevin to provide your family with the strenght to get through this one day at a time.. one minute at a time if need be. I am so sorry.

Having raised four boys in South Boston, you know there is always disparaging chatter between and directed at others. In Kevin's case NOT ONE BAD WORD was ever said to or heard about this fine young man! Coaches and grown ups could see that; but I don't think even Kevin had any idea how much respect and admiration he had from his peers, even those I'm sure he did not associate with . . We could only hope to tell God when our time comes that we lived as well and properly as Kevin. This in all is a tragic loss but a tribute to a fine young man and a nurturing family. God Bless.
