Chambliss, Cynthia Kretschmar On May 27, in Boston, our beloved Dr. Cindy passed away due to complications from a spinal cord injury. She was 69 years old. She is survived by her husband John Chambliss; daughters Holly Kretschmar, Liana McCabe, and Amy Chambliss; brother Leslie Sweetnam; and sister Sandy Sweetnam; in addition to four grandchildren. Cindy graduated from Wellesley College in 1967 (physics), Tufts in 1969 (physics), and Yale Medical School in 1978. She was an esteemed pediatric hematologist-oncologist at several Boston hospitals, ending her career at Tufts NEMC. She will be terribly missed. A Memorial Service will be held at the Church of the Redeemer, Chestnut Hill, on June 6th at 11am.

We can't discribe the love and passion that Dr. Kretschmar had for her patients and families, Cindy was our rock for two horrific years, we are so sorry to hear of her passing. My she be with god and at peace.
