I'm so sorry to hear about Susan's passing. I worked for Susan at The Beacon Hill Bed and Breakfast during my senior year at Emerson College. Susan was wonderful and her house was amazing! I met Shirley MacLain who came with her manager to view the place for a possible movie set. What a shame to hear of this loss. Sending peaceful prayers to her sons, Nicholas and Michael, and to the extended family.

I'm sorry to find out about Susan's passing just today, as I worried about not hearing from her during the holiday season. Susan was a dear friend of my stepfather, Dr. William F. McNeely, after my mother died in 1995 and until he died of dementia in 2011. She became my friend as well during that time, and I will miss her.

Suzy's sons put together the most beautiful memorial at the Advent Church across the street from Suzy's house. She would have been 'amazed' to see so many friends who loved her there to honor her. After a gray morning the sun shone brightly as we left the church to head across the street for a lovely reception at Suzy's Beacon Hill B&B...No.27.

Susan welcomed and celebrated the merging of our two families through the marriage of Michael and Claudine. We shared a special bond, as mothers , and I will always be grateful for her love towards my daughter. She was a talented, amazing lady whom I will miss greatly.
