Our condolences to the Bowers Family on the passing of a Wayland icon. I was fortunate to play basketball for Coach Bowers for three years at Wayland. We did not win many games for him but he coached us as intently and intensively in our last game as he did in our first.

Mrs. Bowers and family; there are so many guys who benefited from the quality care-time shared by your husband. Some did not have a father-hero in their lives and Coach Buzz scored high in their lives. Your daughters are fortunate to have a loving father in their hearts.
