As a working engineer on new products I never thought that I would ever even talk to Ken Olsen. But he and I worked together sort of for a period around 1980. My visits to his office sometimes I found that he wasn't there--but Ann was! All theses years later I still remember that a visit with Ann was a gift that I know I enjoyed as much as a visit with Ken (if I am honest, visits with Ann were more rewarding than visits with Ken because of the obvious love and acceptance that flowed from this lovely lady.) WHY ELSE? She and my wife had the gift that Ken had also---but stronger. As a direct result I knew that my "selfs" (self image, confidence & esteem) grew by leaps and bounds regardless of what we talked about. I was so shocked and sad years ago when I discovered she had passed away. A big loss to me, very sad.
