I had the gift of meeting Laura Chasin last year first meeting her at random in an elevator and then introduced to her by Judy Swallow. I spent an evening for dinner at her and her husband's home. She made a true and lasting impression. Her kindness, generosity, autheticity, humility, poise, spirit were truly an inspiration. She instantly became a role model. I am saddened to learn she has left this lifetime. Blessings to her, her husband and family.

I'm stunned to hear of Laura's death. Such a loss. I was about to send a note of thanks for the framed Moreno posters she donated to Boughton Place last month. I am deeply grateful that she and Dick hosted a dinner party for colleagues of the New England chapter of the ASGPP after a stellar conference last March, and we all had a very stimlating and memorable evening together. I know that her energy for social justice and her compassion for all will live on in everyone who has known her. A great legacy.

I just learned of Laura's death and am grief-stricken by the news. I spent only a few hours with her, but instantly saw that she was a great soul. With her rich mix of kindness and strength, and her commitment to both love and justice, she was the kind of person this world so badly needs. I extend my heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and colleagues, along with my deep gratitude that the work that is so infused with Laura's spirit will go on and on. Parker J. Palmer
