Mom, words can't express how much I miss you. I miss being able to talk to you, to share in our jokes, and to simply look over and see you sitting near me. It feels like I've lost a giant part of myself. It still doesn't feel real. I still expect to look up and see you again. But I know you fought as long as you could with strength I could never even fathom. Some days I don't know how I'm going to go on without you; the only thing that gets me through is knowing you would want me to be strong and to find happiness again.

I hope you know how much you meant to me. You really were my best friend and confidant. I always had the best day when I spent it with you. You were the best mother anyone could ever ask for and I will always be grateful for everything you did and for everything you were.

What brings me comfort now is knowing you are out of the pain that you endured for so long. Until we meet again just remember every time my heart beats part of it will beat for you. Love you always, Jess

Mom, I miss you already. However, I get comfort in knowing that you are at peace and no longer suffering. If my day comes when I have to fight this horrible disease, you have showed me how to fight it with courage and grace. I also hope I can be the parent that you were to me someday. you gave me your unconditional love and support and whatever time I needed of yours. You made sure I got the best education and learned as much as I possibly could and were still teaching me lessons up until your passing. You lived for Jess and I and for that we will always be grateful. Please watch over us, check in on us from time to time and know that we will always love and remeber you. Til we meet again. Love Gino
