FREEMAN, Murray Of Boston and Naples, FL. Beloved husband of Linda Lerner, devoted father of Susan Maher of Concord, NH, loving grandfather of Peter, Tim and Andrew Maher. Loving cousin of Betsy Stone. Devoted uncle to his nieces Danielle, Alison, Ashley, Taylor and Rachel. Predeceased by wife Marilyn Freeman. He was a graduate of Brookline High School, Yale University and Harvard Law School. He was a veteran of the US Army. As a partner in the law firm Nutter McClennen & Fish he practiced labor and employment law. He was a life long fan of the Boston Red Sox and read all sections of the NY Times every day. In his retirement, one of his greatest pleasures was the Harvard Institute of Learning in Retirement. Murray was universally known for his sharp wit and keen sense of humor. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
