I met Ken at Church of the Transfiguration many yrs. Ago. He turned out to be a wonderful friend and teacher in my life. I pray they find a cure for this horrible disease and I know he is with His Savior.

This is sad news, but it sparks wonderful memories. When I was a teenager in Portland, Maine, Ken was the associate pastor at my church, Trinity Episcopal. For several months I practically lived with him and Lenore and Jonathan while Lenore finished college, but they were far more than just another babysitting client. They opened my eyes to a world (and ways of seeing) that I might never have discovered otherwise. They took me along on sabbatical trips to the Rockies and the UK, introduced me to places like New York City and singers like Leonard Cohen and activists like Saul Alinsky. And when I, too, went to Bates College, Ken was once again my pastor, because he had accepted a post at a church just down the road, in Lisbon Falls. Sleep well, Ken, and peace to Jon and Meredith and Lenore.

Rest + eternal brant unto him, and let light perpetual shine upon him. May his soul, +, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

The Boston University School of Theology (BUST) community sends its condolences to Pam and their family. Thanks to Ken's development skills and long-term commitment, the school benefited from significant alumni engagement and support over many years. His legacy lives on in all that his fellow alumni continue to do for BUST.
