FORD, Walter K. Of Medford, April 2nd. Beloved husband of the late Mary R. Ford. Father of Karen Ford of Malden, Kevin Ford and his wife Gloria of Malden, Kristine Campbell and her husband David of Boulder, CO, Michelle Dunajski and her husband Paul of Marblehead, Charles Ford and his wife Carol of Medford, Kathryn Schields and her husband Steve of Foster City, CA and Lisa Tonello and her husband Mark of Medford. Brother of Robert Ford of New Seabury and the late Sally Carrigan, Catherine Uncles, Irene Murphy and Jack Ford. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Walter has been a resident of Medford for most of his life. He served honorably in the United States Army during World War II. He was a driver for the MBTA for many years. Walter was a founder of Club 24 in Malden. He also served on the Board of Directors for Eastern Middlesex Alcoholic Services for many years. He helped many people face their addiction during his lifetime. He was also a member of the Irish American Association in Malden. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., MALDEN on Friday April 7th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday April 6th from 4-8 PM.
