{M3}HAMILTON Patton, Major General George S. {M1}PATTON, Major General George S. _US Army, Retired, son of the late General George S. Patton, Jr. and Beatrice Ayer Patton, died on Sunday, June 27, at his Hamilton, Massachusetts home after a long illness. General Patton is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joanne (Holbrook) Patton. Father of Mother Margaret Georgina Patton, OSB of Bethlehem, CT; George S. Patton, Jr. of Hamilton, MA, Robert H. Patton and his wife, Vicki of Darien, CT; Helen Patton-Plusezyk and her husband, Dr. Thorsten Plusczyk of Saarbrucken, Germany, and Benjamin Wilson Patton and his wife, Jennifer, of New York City. Grandfather of Robert and James Patton; lngmar and Ragnar Plusczyk, Thomas and Christian Zawacki, and one great-grandson, Zachary Zawacki. His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 7th at 10AM at St. John's Episcopal Church, Beverly Farms, MA. His Burial Service will take place at Arlington National Cemetery, Fort Myer, VA on Friday, August 27th at 11AM Arrangements are under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., BEVERLY, MA In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Army Emergency Relief, 200 Stovall St., Alexandria, VA 22332-0600, the National Military Family Association, (2500 North Van Dorn St., Suite 102, Alexandria, VA, 22302-1601) the West Point Fund (c/o Association of Graduates, US Military Academy, West Point, NY 10996), St. John 's Episcopal Church (PO Box 5610, Beverly Farms, MA 01915), or the New England Small Farm Institute (PO Box 608, Belchertown MA 01007)
