CIAMPI Alexander E. of Plymouth, died on April 18, 2016, at Boston Medical Center. He is the beloved husband of 50 years to Pamela M. (Chiusano) Ciampi. Loving stepfather of Paul Fontaine and his wife Marie of Plymouth, Richard Fontaine of Florida and Robert Fontaine and his wife Cheryl of Plymouth. Brother of Jo-Anne Nauglar and her husband Jack of NH. , Cherished grandfather of Jeffery, Jessica, Richard Jr., Katie, Lexie and Kyle, great grandfather of Mason and Nolan. Uncle of Joanna Beth and her husband Paul and Annie. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, February 20, 1940 a son of the late Alexander E. and Anne (Bizzaro) Ciampi. Educated in Boston he graduated from Christopher Columbus High School in Boston and St. Francis Seminary in Andover and Boston State College. He went on to serve in the US Army in Korea as a MP. After the military he graduated from Coyne Tech and went to work in Computer Management where he worked many years. After his retirement he worked for several years for Comcast as a dispatcher. A member of the American Legion Post #40 Plymouth, he enjoyed golfing and gardening. Funeral from the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court Street, PLYMOUTH on Friday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Peter’s Church at 10:00 A.M. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4:00 P.M. 7:00 P.M. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Plymouth. Memorial donations may be made to St. Peter’s Church 86 Court St. Plymouth, MA 02360.
