PARRINO Alfred S. 86, of Norwood, MA passed away after a long illness on April 13, 2015 at the New England Sinai Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Flora A. (Pulcini) and the loving father of Michelle Ann, Cheryl Marie, and Darlene Elisia. Born in Boston, MA on January 11th, 1929, he was the devoted son of the late Vito and Giovannina Parrino, the beloved brother of Eleanor Parrino, Paul Parrino, and Daniel Parrino and the late Lucy Listro, Rose Crowley, Antoinette Peri, and Mary Grondin. Alfred graduated magna cum laude from Boston State College, class of 1981. He and his wife Flora were happily married in Norwood, MA on June 29th, 1958. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1948-1954. During his tour of duty, he was an accomplished electrician for the U.S. Navy. He worked for the U.S. Government as an Industrial Specialist for the Department of Defense for 58 years. Alfred was a member of the Christian Church of Norwood for over 40 years and then attended the Victory Assembly in Sharon, MA. He loved spending time with his family, taking them on many wonderful vacations and watching over them in his loving, protective way. Alfred especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, wrestling, and watching movies. He was also very mechanically inclined and loved to do repair work on his many cars. Beloved husband of Flora, and devoted father of his three daughters and families: Michelle and Paul Ragusa of Norwood, MA; Cheryl and Peter Treadway of Medfield, MA, Darlene and Paul Thebaud of Chestnut Hill, MA; four grandchildren: Julia Michelle, Tyler Alfred, Jacqueline Sharon, and Victoria Flora. Alfred will be deeply missed; but remembered for his love for the Lord, his love of life, his beautiful eyes and smile, and most of all for his 56 year love story with his wife and best friend, Flora. They did everything together. They went to church, traveled, and loved enjoying life together. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend the wake on Thursday, April 16th from 4:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. at Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home located at 1248 Washington Street in NORWOOD, MA. The funeral will be on Friday, April 17th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Victory Assembly of God Church located at 67 High Plain Street, Sharon, MA.
