GIORDANO Anthony A., Sr. of Middleboro formerly of Bridgewater, died January 26, 2014 in St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton. Anthony was born in Boston. The son of the late Michelena (Visconti) of Boston and Antonio Giordano of Italy. He was raised and educated in Boston. Anthony drove a truck for 45 years for Purity Supreme and Stop and Shop and was a member of the Local 25 Teamsters Union. Anthony was very proud of his Italian heritage and enjoyed watching all his Italian movies and programs. He had a passion for gardening and was a wonderful cook. Husband of June F. (Hill) Giordano of Middleboro. Father of Laura A. Giordano of Bridgewater, Lisa M. Giordano-MacInnis of Halifax, Anthony A. Giordano, Jr. of Bridgewater, Michele Chuckran of Bridgewater and Michael E. Giordano of East Bridgewater. Loving grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Bridgewater, Friday at 12 noon. Burial will be private.
