MORAN Anthony W. "Tony" 41, passed away after a long battle with brain cancer on November 3 2015, surrounded by his family and friends. Devoted son of James and Diane (Smith) Moran. Forever remembered by his loving wife Tracy (Mannix) Moran, and his four year old son Matthew Mannix Moran. Dear brother of James Moran Jr., Paul Moran, William Moran and Melissa Weichel who has always been like a sister. Grandson of Elizabeth (DeVoy) Smith. Loving son in law of Walter and Linda Mannix. Cherished brother-in-law to Laura Moran, Kerin Moran, Kerry Costello and Jason Mannix. Dear uncle of Justin, Colin, Maeve, Austin, Abbey, Adrianna, Paul Jr. Liam, Aidan and Anthony. Godfather of Caitlyn O'Connor, Maeve and Austin. Tony is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and hundred of friends, too many to mention. Tony will always be remembered for his love of life, generosity, and infectious smile. He has also shown all who have known him what it means to be a husband, father, son, uncle, and best friend to all. Most importantly he was a true fighter and an inspiration to everyone around him. Visitation in The O'Brien Funeral Home, 146 Dorchester Street, SOUTH BOSTON on Sunday from 4:00 P.M. 8:00 P.M. Funeral Mass in Gate of Heaven Church, 615 East Fourth Street, South Boston, Monday at 10:00A.M. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
