VUONO Arlene C. (Zoia), 89, of Brockton, died December 4, 2015. Born in Quincy, she was the daughter of the late Armando and Barbara Zoia. A devout Catholic, she was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Dedicated to the Virgin Mary, she prayed the Rosary daily. An avid doll collector, she owned “The Doll Shop” in Easton for many years and later worked as a PCA. Arlene was the beloved wife of Stephen V. Vuono for 67 years; loving mother of Peter L. Vuono and his wife Diane; devoted grandmother of Amy and Michael Vuono, all of Brockton; sister of Lawrence Zoia and his wife Louise of Naples, FL; an aunt of Laurie, Barbara and Lawrence Jr., all of Florida; and a cousin of many. All are welcome to gather Monday at 7:45 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., BROCKTON for a 9:00 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph.
