DUGRENIER Arthur A. 82, of Merrimac, formerly of the Bradford section of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 1 with his family by his side at the Lawrence General Hospital. Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Francis C. and Flora (Gauron) DuGrenier. He attended Haverhill Public Schools and was a graduate of the Governor Dummer Academy, class of 1950. He attended Merrimack College and later enlisted into the Navy. A Korean War Veteran, he proudly served his country and was honorably discharged. Mr. DuGrenier was an entrepreneur; he owned and operated Town and Country Vending Company of Lawrence. After retiring, he owned a hot dog cart at the entrance of Winnekeni Park on Route 110 in Haverhill, where you could enjoy a quick bite and pleasant conversation. He also served on the Board of Trustees for Elmwood Cemetery. The widower of Audrey (Burchell) DuGrenier, who passed away in March, 2013, he leaves five loving daughters; Ann M. Croatti, and her husband, Robert, of Southborough, Diane E. Bottcher and her husband Steven, of Bow, NH, Mary E. Cote, of Bradford, Julie A. Carven, and her husband, Joseph, of Amesbury, and Katie G. Keefe, and her husband, Kevin, of Bradford. He also leaves fifteen grandchildren, a great grandchild, two brothers, Francis DuGrenier and his wife, Eleanor, and Gary DuGrenier and his wife, Mary, all of Amesbury, and several nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss him dearly. He was predeceased by his brother, Brad, and a great granddaughter, Kaylee Dimetri. Family and friends are respectfully invited to call on Thursday from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) HAVERHILL. Funeral services for Mr. DuGrenier will begin on Friday morning at 10:00 A.M from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in Sacred Hearts Church, South Main St. Bradford at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Salem St. Bradford.
