TANKLE Barbara A. (Rocci) in Dorchester, August 8, 2013. Beloved wife for 60 years of Ben Tankle. Devoted mother of Lynda Atkinson and her husband Stanley of Dorchester, Steven Tankle and his wife Carla of Dorchester, Bruce Tankle of Dorchester, Larry Tankle of Weymouth, Michael Tankle and his wife Maria of Brockton, Roukie Rocci of Dorchester, and the late Alan Rocci. Mother in law of the late Carol Tankle. Grandmother of eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Sister of Janet Knoll of Saugus, Larry Rocci of Falmouth and Dickie Rocci of Weymouth. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Barbara was employed by the City of Boston for 16 years, a founder of the Neponset Health Center, an active member of the Port Norfolk Civic Association, a loyal Red Sox fan, and a 50 year friend of Bill W. Funeral from the O’Donnell & Mulry Funeral Home, 138 Neponset Avenue, DORCHESTER on Tuesday morning at 9:15. Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Neponset at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours Monday 4:00 P.M. 8:00 P.M. Donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to The Salvation Army, 25 Shawmut Road, Canton, MA 02021 or at Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
