BOCCHINO Carmela (DelVecchio) of East Boston passed away peacefully on December 24, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Michele. Loving mother of Michael Bocchino and his wife Lisa of East Boston, Serafino "Peter" Bocchino and his wife Susan of Saugus and Anthony Bocchino and his wife Evelyn of East Boston. Dear sister of Concetta Natale of Italy, Teresa Borriello of East Boston, Luigi DelVecchio of Saugus, Emilio DelVecchio of Revere and the late Ciriaco and Beniamino DelVecchio. Also survived by 7 loving grandchildren; Rachel, Peter, Michaela, Michael, Jenna, Anthony and Victoria as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Special friend to Pina Ciavattone of East Boston. Family and friends will honor Carmela's life by gathering Sunday December 28, 2014 from 3-7 pm in the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home 971 Saratoga St. EAST BOSTON and again at 8:45 a.m. Monday morning before leaving in funeral procession to the Most Holy Redeemer Church 65 London St. East Boston for a funeral mass to be celebrated in her honor at 10:00 a.m. Services will conclude with Carmela being laid to rest with her beloved husband Michele in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. The funeral home is handicapped accessible and children's lounge is available. Courtesy valet parking (front entrance of funeral home) is also available.
