MARRIN Mrs. Carol Ann (Watts) Marrin, age 72, of Lynn, died on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. She was the beloved wife of Kenneth J. Marrin, with whom she shared 39 years of marriage. Born in Jamaica Plain, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Ann E. (Flanagan) Watts. She was a graduate of Holy Cross Academy in Jamaica Plain, and lived in Roslindale for many years before moving to Lynn in 1996. Carol worked as a computer system analyst for the Department of Defense in Boston until her retirement. She enjoyed ceramics, bowling and dancing, and was an Elvis Presley fan. She enjoyed spending time at her winter home in Winter Garden, FL. In her younger years, she had also enjoyed spending summers at Hough’s Neck in Quincy. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her step-children; Kenneth Marrin, Patricia Marrin, Kathleen Marrin McCoy; and predeceased by Jennifer Marrin and by her brother Robert Watts. She had six grandchildren; Hailey Marrin Gallagher, Meaghan Harper, James Gallagher III, Michelle Marrin, Daniel McCoy V, and Elizabeth Marrin; her nephews and niece; Robert, Deborah and Mark Watts; her sister-in-law; Maureen Watts; her cousins; including her beloved cousin Evie Watts Tozer; as well as her best friends, Rosalie Fulco and Lorraine Rooney. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, June 7 at 9 AM from the Solimine Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Rt 129), LYNN, MA, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Pius V Church, 215 Maple Street, Lynn at 10 AM. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Friday, June 6 from 4-8 PM. Directions and guestbook at
