ROBERTS First Lady Carolyn Quantella Francis Roberts was born to the late Pastors Boyd Sr., and Lula Dee Francis on October 7, 1947 in Mobile, Alabama. Carolyn was raised in Erie, Pennsylvania. Minister William and Sis. Carolyn Roberts relocated to Boston in July 1969 to start a church, Bethlehem Apostolic Faith Holiness Church of God. God blessed Carolyn with many talents, most of all, she enjoyed being a wife, a mother to her children and many adopted daughters and sons. God called Carolyn Quantella Francis Roberts home on Wednesday, December 30, 2015. She passed away peacefully at home. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one nephew. Carolyn leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband William P. Roberts (she called brother and professor); six children: Felicia (Angel) Roberts-Vazquez, Monica Roberts, Anthony (Shante) Roberts, Melissa (James) Freeman, Andre (Carissa) Roberts, and Phedra (Claude) Bigot; five sisters; two brothers; eleven grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law (Roberts family); many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and two special childhood friends. There will be a Viewing on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00am followed by Funeral Service at 11:00 O’clock at Morning Star Baptist Church, 1257 Blue Hill Avenue, Mattapan, MA 02126.
