HASTIE Rev. Cornelius “Neal” of Jamaica Plain, June 15, 2016. Affectionately known as Fr. Hastie. Founder and Director of the St. James Educational Center, Roxbury. His long ministry with St John St. James Episcopal Church in Roxbury began in 1956. He served as Protestant Chaplain to Deer Island House of Correction, and as Rector of St. John's, Charlestown. Beloved husband of Linda Marvin Hastie of Jamaica Plain. Dear father of John C. Hastie and his wife Bettina of Easton and George Hastie of Jamaica Plain. Loving grandfather of Caliban Hastie of Easton. Brother of Clement Hastie of Westchester, NY. He is survived by extended family and a host of friends. Memorial Service, Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at The Cathedral Church of St. Paul, 138 Tremont Street, Boston. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation, in Fr.
