BROOKE Edward W. Brooke United States Senator, Massachusetts Attorney General, Massachusetts Captain U.S. Army, WWII, 366th Combat Infantry Born October 26, 1919, in Washington, D.C., son of Edward William Brooke Jr. and Helen Seldon Brooke. Former United States Senator Edward W. Brooke, 95, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at his home in Coral Gables, Florida. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Anne Fleming Brooke; his son, Edward W. Brooke IV; his daughters, Remi Goldstone, and Edwina Petit; grandchildren Tamara Petit, Vincent Petit, Christophe Petit, and Landon Goldstone; stepdaughter, Melanie Laflamme and family; niece, Peggy Amos and family; and many cousins. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Washington National Cathedral followed by interment at 3 p.m. at Arlington National Cemetery. Flowers cannot be sent to the Washington National Cathedral.
