GUARINO Lt. Edwin B. Guarino (Ret. Everett Police Department) of Everett, passed away on October 1, 2013 at the age of 88 years. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine (Hogan) for 65+ years. Devoted father of Edwin B. Guarino Jr., Laurel Guarino Hickey and her husband Stephen, Neil Guarino and his wife Doreen (Landry.) Loving grandfather of Peter, Regina and Alexander. Great-grandfather of Daniel and Riley. He is survived by his sister Helen Scotti. The brother of the late Andrew Guarino Jr. He was the son of Andrew Guarino Sr. and Helen ( Fiorentino.) He also leaves many nieces and nephews. Services were private. Lt. Guarino served in WWII as a member of the U.S. Army Airborne Division, "Screaming Eagles." He fought in the Battle of the Bulge.
