HEALEY Fr. Fergus A. OFM, of Saint Anthony Shrine, Boston, May 24, 2013. Fr. Fergus was born to the late John and Nora (Crowley) Healey and baptized John Joseph Healey. He was raised in Medford and graduated from Medford High School in 1945 and St. Joseph Seminary, Callicoon, NY 1948. Fr. Fergus is survived by his sister-in-law Patricia Healy, many nieces, nephews and cousins and was the brother of the late Mary Healey, Richard Healey, William David Healey and Constance and her husband Manuel Torregrosa. Following ordination, Fr. Healey served in parishes in Boston, Bronx, NY, Providence, RI, and served as Guardian in Bronx, NY and Boston. He has lived in Boston since March 2006 as an Associate and Confessor. Visiting hours in the First Floor Chapel at Saint Anthony Shrine, 100 Arch Street, Boston, Thursday May 30, 4:00-8:00 P.M., with a Vigil Service at 7:30 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated in the Second Floor Chapel at Saint Anthony Shrine, Friday, May 31 at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Saint Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Name Province Office of Development, 144 West 32nd Street, NY, NY 10001.
