CASEY Frances R., 93, of Foxborough, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at her home surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Patrick and Agnes (Loflin) Carter. Fran was born in Roxbury on January 12, 1920 and was educated in Boston Public Schools. She and her husband Thomas were married at St. Peter’s Church in Dorchester in 1943. She was a former Dorchester resident and also lived in Milton for several years before moving to Foxborough in 1986. Fran was a Gold Star mother after losing her son, CPL Thomas M. J. Casey, Jr., USMC, in the Vietnam War. Frances worked in the Milton Public School System in the cafeteria. She loved bowling and was a member of a bowling team where she accumulated trophies which she proudly displayed in her home. Fran and her husband enjoyed square and round dancing where they made many friends and had wonderful memories. Fran was happiest when spending time with her family and traveling with her husband and friends on their many trips. Wife of the late Thomas M. J. Casey. Beloved mother of Patricia and Rick Collins of Foxborough, Ann Bruso of Weymouth and Paul Casey of Milton. Loving grandmother of Deborah, Christine, Julie, Amy, Sandra and Sean and great grandmother of Mikayla, Alyssa, Gabrielle and Michael. Sister of the late Mary, Robert, Margaret, Catherine, Rose, Agnes, John, James and Harold. Beloved aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Monday, October 28, 2013 from 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, FOXBOROUGH. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary’s Church, 58 Carpenter Street, Foxborough. Interment to follow at Milton Cemetery.
