BINDA Frank E. "Louie", of South Boston, passed away October 22 2015, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of the late Julia "Judy" (Geoghegan) Binda. Loving father of Cheryl Koyon, her husband Mike, Michelle Binda, her partner Joe Tenore, Michael Binda, Carolyn Mackenzie, all of South Boston, Denise Calderara and her husband Mike of Braintree. Devoted grandfather of Jennifer, Jacquelyn Farrell, Casey Adams, Matthew, Blake, Breanna Binda, Courtney, Lauren MacKenzie, Sean Malone, Taylor Binda, Madison and Keryn Calderara. Great-grandfather of Julia, Edward MacKenzie and Landin Adams. Cherished son of the late Luciano and Edna (Mossey) Binda. Dear brother of Robert Binda, his wife Martha, brother-in-law of Kathleen Cummings, Patricia Kolesinski, Karen Dugan, Robert McGinn, Peter Dugan, the late Mary "Mickey" McGinn, Thomas Geoghegan, Jack Cummings, and Paul Kolesinkski. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, ralatives, and friends. Frank was a retired employee of the US Postal Service and a proud veteran of the US Army. Visiting hours in The O'Brien Funeral Home, 146 Dorchester Street SOUTH BOSTON, Sunday from 2-6 PM. Funeral Mass in St. Monica Church, 331 Old Colony Ave, South Boston, Monday at 10:00 AM. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. Relatives and friends are invited to attend all services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's memory to Journey Forward 755 Dedham Street, Canton MA 02021, or to VFW National Headquarters, 406 West 34th Street, Suite 718, Kansas City, MO 64111.
