BRENNAN Fred H., 80 of Washington, NH passed away Friday, February 6, 2015 following a lengthy illness. Fred was born in Natick, MA on May 23, 1934 to James and Verna (Hartwell) Brennan. He enlisted in the US Navy in 1951 and served on a Destroyer during the Korean Conflict. He worked for General Motors in Westwood, MA until retirement at age 65, then moved to Washington, NH in 1982. Fred deeply enjoyed motorcycle touring and skiing and loved spending time at the ocean and in the mountains. Fred is survived by his only son, Dr. Fred H. Brennan, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Kelly A. Brennan of Lee, NH; his brother, James Brennan of Revere, MA; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Fred was predeceased by four brothers. Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service with military honors at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the New Hampshire State Veteran’s Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway in Boscawen, NH. The Cremation Society of NH is assisting the family with arrangements.
