George Alan, Jr., was born September 9, 1963 to the late George Preston and Myrtle Dixon (Douglas) in New Haven, Connecticut. George was raised in Boston, and graduated from West Roxbury High School. George was a free spirit in every sense of the word. This was eflected in all his endeavors. George made friends wherever he went, and went he did. Always traveling and preparing for his next adventure. Those who knew him knew that he often had a free and rich lifestyle, his charm and charisma made wondrous things happen for him. When George was center stage he was at his best. George was passionate about music and performing in front of crowds as well as small family gatherings. George also performed with Sarah Caldwell's Opera Company of Boston in 1980. He played a Russian Cossak in Die Fledermaus, serving champagne to the stars on stage, and he made sure he was noticed. Family was priority to George. He kept in contact with relatives living long distance and always opened his heart and home to those that were local. George always gave of himself with every bit of his emotions; he was truly one of a kind. George was preceded in death by his late brothers, Vernard and Rowland Boulware and his sisters, Sandra Boulware and Karen Preston. He has left to cherish his memory his brother Jerome Boluware, his step-brothers, Timothy and Alvin Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. George will be especially missed by his dear friend and partner Randolph Fuller.
