LEHR Howard F., of Jamaica Plain and Holliston, suddenly, June 25, 2014. Beloved husband of Colleen McKenney Lehr of Jamaica Plain and the late Nancy G. Lehr. Loving father of Virginia G. Lehr-LaGanke of Bellingham, Cynthia J., and her husband Thomas Holden of Arden Hills, MN and his two grandchildren Matthew J. and Nicole G. LaGanke. Brother of Natalie Stanfield of Holliston and Joanne and her husband Bert Cheney of Maine. Also survived by many nieces, nephews grandnieces and grand nephews and cousins. Late 56 year Member of Local 103 (IBEW) and (NECA). Former owner of Suffolk Electric Co., of Jamaica Plain and an active Unitarian Universalist who marched with Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., during the 3rd March in Selma, Alabama. Wake will be held on Monday, July 14th, at Local 103 Hall, 256 Freeport Street, Dorchester, 9:00 A.M.-12:00; Service at Noon, reception immediately following. Burial will be Tuesday, July 15th at 10:00 A.M. in Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Howard F. Lehr Memorial Scholarship Fund, please make checks payable to: “NECA” Electrical Contractors Assoc., Boston Chapter, 106 River St., West Newton, MA 02465 would be appreciated.
