TERRUSO James F., 66, of West Bridgewater died peacefully on November 20, 2014. James was the loving son of the late Sebastian and Myra (Hawes) Terruso. He was raised in Braintree and was a graduate of Braintree High School, Class of 1966. After attending trade school he enlisted in the US Air Force and served in Europe during Vietnam. James raised his children in Bridgewater and worked at the Gillette Company as a machinist from 1978, until his retirement in 2007. He was an antique car enthusiast. James owned many antique Buicks and was a member of Buick Club of America and the Antique Auto Club of America. Often he traveled to car shows where he displayed his own vehicles or served as a competition judge. James also enjoyed the Red Sox, Patriots, and he was an avid antique radio collector. Loving father of James J. Terruso of Raynham and Marianne L. Mitnick and her husband David of Plainville. Grandfather of David Jr. and brother of Pamela Uttaro of RI. A Funeral Home Service will be held at the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford Street, BRIDGEWATER on Sunday November 23 at 3:00 P.M. with visitation beginning at 1:00 P.M. Jim will be buried at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne on Monday November 24 at 11:15 A.M., to join the Funeral procession please meet at the Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.
