DOYLE John F. of Braintree, 75 years of age, entered Life Eternal on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the South Shore Hospital. His beloved wife Sheila (O’Connor) Doyle passed away on February 7, 2015. John had cared for her very well during her extended illness. He was born and educated In Boston. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. John was a retired Telephone Repairman for the New England Telephone Company and NYNEX. He belonged to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union 103. He was a communicant of Saint Francis of Assisi Parish in South Braintree. John and Sheila Doyle moved to Braintree in 1968. He was the devoted father of David P. Doyle of, Los Angeles, CA. and Erin Haggerty married to Eric Haggerty of Medway. He was the loving grandfather of Hannah Haggerty. Visiting hours will be held at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home 516 Washington Street, BRAINTREE on Thursday, March 5, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Friday, March 6, at 9:30 A.M. to be followed by a funeral Mass in Saint Francis of Assisi Church 856 Washington Street, South Braintree Square at 10:30 A.M. There will be a committal service at the Braintree Cemetery on Plain Street for both John and Sheila Doyle which will follow the funeral Mass for John. Sheila’s funeral Mass was celebrated after her death on February 14, at Saint Francis of Assisi Church.
