LINTON John A. “Jack” Linton, Sr., 85, of Peabody, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012, surrounded by his family. For 53 years, he was married to the love and light of his life, E. Alanna (Lister) Linton. He is also survived by his children, John A. “Jax” Linton Jr. of Peabody, Geraldine “Geri” Meaney of Lynn, Paul Linton of Epping, New Hampshire, Patrick Linton of Northwood, New Hampshire, Christopher “CJ” Linton of Chester, Virginia, Adrienne Linton of Milton, New Hampshire, and Monica Corriveau of Lawrence; his grandchildren, who loved their “Papa”: Elizabeth Teague, Jennifer Leonard, Gareth “Gary” Yanco, Nicole Linton, Samantha Yanco, Erica Linton, Megan Linton, Kaila-Lee Linton, Lc Cpl with the U.S. Marines Shawn Linton, Crystal Corriveau, Brandon Qualter, Jessica Corriveau, and Heather Qualter, E. Krzysztof Linton, Alanna Linton and Hunter Linton, his great-grandchildren: Jacob, Teagan, Sierra, Joshua, Nathaniel, Darrian, Finley, William, Jovan, and Alexander, and uncle of many, and leaves his beloved dog “Gus”. He was the father of the late Mary Linton, and brother of the late Henry “Buddy” Linton and Virginia (Linton) O’Connor. “Good night and God bless you.” Funeral from the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, LYNN on Saturday at 10:00 A.M., followed by a funeral mass at St. Ann’s Church, 136 Lynn Street, Peabody at 11:00 AM. Visitation is today, 2:00 P.M. 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. 9:00 P.M.. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty Street, Danvers 01923, or the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
