O’BRIEN John S., passed away on July 2, 2016 at Brockton Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Pennsylvania John moved to Massachusetts to attend school and fell in love with the Ocean and the area so made it his home. He lived in Scituate and loved boating for over twenty years before moving and has lived in Brockton for many years. John received his PH.D from Boston University and his career as a psychologist was his passion and something he continued right up until his illness. He worked at St Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston, Baldpate Hospital in Georgetown and Brockton Hospital as well as having a Private Practice. Survived by his son Peck O’Brien, wife Aracelis and children Aricelis and Ariel, and son Timothy Conderino. Arrangements by Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home. Services were private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Hemochromatosis Society, P.O. Box 950871 Lake Mary Florida, 32795-0871.
