SUTHERLAND John T. “Jack” of Hull, passed away May 30, 2012. Jack was a hardworking man and truly enjoyed his job as a toll officer on the Tobin Bridge for 40 years, retiring in 2002. He was an avid “junk man” and could often be found scrapping metal. Jack had a special fondness for his winters in Aruba and all of the wonderful friends he met there over the years with his family. His family describes him as a dedicated family man and wonderful storyteller. Beloved husband of Vickie (Nolan) Sutherland of Hull. Devoted father of Eileen Sutherland and her companion Jim Arcuri of Auburndale, Michelle Sutherland-Higgins and her husband John of Whitman, John T. Sutherland, Jr. of South Plymouth and daughter-in-law Kelly St. Marie of Hull. Cherished “Papa” of Taylor Marie, Joseph, Molly Ann, Samantha Mary and Jacqueline Emily. Loving brother of William Sutherland of Rockland and James Sutherland of Dedham. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dear godson of Mary Tedeschi of Roxbury. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 12:00 P.M. 3:00 P.M. in the McDonald Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opposite South Shore Hospital) Funeral service will follow in the funeral home on Sunday at 3:30 P.M.
