PERRY Joseph F., 81, of Bellingham, MA passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 14, 2015 with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband for 55 years of Doris M. (Porter) Perry. Born in Dexter, Maine on January 13, 1934, he was the son of the late Raymond J. and Elsie Mary (Cobb) Perry. He was the loving father of Richard Gargiulo and his wife, Wendy of Mattapoisett, MA, Deborah Clay of Ashland, MA, Virginia Quinan and her husband, Joseph of Natick, MA, Stephen Perry and his wife, Lisa of Ft. McCoy, FL, Lisa Mysiuk-Bissen and her husband, Thomas Bissen of Belingham, MA, and Jeffrey Perry and his wife, Linda of Framingham, MA. He leaves his cherished 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Raymond “Sonny” Perry, Evelyn Perry, and Dorothy Levesque. Mr. Perry was a resident of Bellingham for the past four years formerly of Ocala, FL and Wellesley, MA. He as an aircraft mechanic at Helio Aircraft of Bedford, MA for many years, and moving to Ocala, FL worked for 15 years at Perry’s Pub until retiring. He was a United States Marine Corps Korean War Veteran attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant and received the Korean Service Medal with 3 Stars, National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, United Nations Service Medal, and the Nav late Raymond “Sonny” Perry, Occ Service Medal. He was a life member of the VFW Post 7272 of Bellingham. He was a gifted wrought iron craftsman and enjoyed playing bingo, cribbage, darts, gardening and had a great love for hummingbirds. He was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan. Devoted to his family, he will be greatly missed. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 20th at 1:00PM at the First Baptist Church, 1172 So. Main Street, Bellingham, MA. In lieu of flowers donations to the First Baptist Church, 1172 South Main Street, Bellingham, MA 02019, would be appreciated.
