HANLON Joseph M. of Allston November 21, 2016. Loving son of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Hammond) Hanlon. Devoted brother of Michael Jr., and his wife Joyce of Watertown, James and his wife Mary of Hingham, Elizabeth of Allston, Mary of Medway and the late Leo formerly of Allston. Uncle of Phillip and his wife Lisa, Jennifer and her fianc Ron and Michelle. Great uncle of Jaclyn and Michael and master of his beloved late dog Dolly. Also survived by James Hanlon’s mother-in-law Mary Eisenhart of Brighton. Funeral from the Lehman Reen and McNamara Funeral Home 63 Chestnut Hill Ave. (nr. Brighton Courthouse) BRIGHTON Saturday November 26 at 9:00 A.M. Followed by Funeral Mass in St. Anthony Church, 43 Holton St. Allston at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting Hours Friday November 25 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Brighton. Joe was a lifelong resident of Allston, his beloved Community. He worked for over 38 years for the Election Department as the Principle Asst. Registrar of Voters for the City of Boston. He was an avid fan of the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins and a follower of the Drum and Bugle Corps. Joe loved all animals, especially dogs. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Joe may be made to St. Anthony Church 43 Holton St. Allston, MA 02134 or MSPCA-Angell 350 South Huntington Ave. Jamaica Plain, MA 02130. His family will always remember him as a kind and gentle man who loved his family and will be missed by all.
