KELLEY Joseph P., 58, of Medford and Falmouth, formerly of Brockton, died on December 17, 2013. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Markham) Kelley and son of the late Leo and Mary (Garvin) Kelley of Brockton. Joseph was the brother of Patricia and her husband Michael White of NJ, Mary and her husband Philip Sullivan of Brockton, Leo Kelley and his wife Vicky of Kingston, Garvin and his wife Katy of Sandwich, Anthony and his wife Diane of Whitman, Kathleen Kelley of Feeding Hills, and the late Thomas Kelley. He was the beloved nephew of Sister Dorothy Kelley, R.G.S. of Harwich and John and Kathleen McLaughlin of Duxbury. He was the devoted son-in-law of Daniel F. Markham of Medford and Falmouth. He is also survived by 22 nieces and nephews and one great-niece and great-nephew. He was brother-in-law to the Markham and McClellan families of Medford and Winchester. Joseph was employed with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as Deputy Registrar of Motor Vehicles, Deputy General Manager of the MBTA, and most recently as Deputy General Manager of Systemwide Improvements. He was the former City Councilor and Chairman of the Licensing Board for the City of Brockton. He was a member of Polish White Eagles Society of Brockton, former Treasurer of the Holy Ghost Society of Martha’s Vineyard, a member of the Falmouth Yacht Club and Green Pond Yacht Club both of Falmouth, and the Mistletoe Society. Visiting hours will be from 4:00 P.M. 7:00 P.M. on Friday, December 20 in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 584 West Falmouth Highway (Route 28A), WEST FALMOUTH. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 21 at St. Patrick’s Church, 511 Main Street, Falmouth, MA.
