REARDON Joseph S. In Dorchester, December 28th. Beloved husband of Mary B. “Mady” (Healy). Loving father of Stephen D. Reardon of Dorchester, Mary C. and her husband Daniel Long of South Boston, Joseph S. Reardon of South Boston, and the late Jane E. Reardon. Brother of Margaret A. Hornbrook of South Boston, and the late Walter, Frank, and Evelyn Reardon, Ann Finn, and Rita Greene. Devoted papa of Stephen Reardon, Jane Kelly, Patrick, Kaitlyn, and Ryan Long. Papa Joe to Liam Long, Madeline and Conor Kelly. Father-in-law of Linda Reardon. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, Thursday 2-6 P.M. Funeral Mass in St. Brendan Church, Friday morning, January 2, at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Veteran WWII-U.S. Army. Late retired employee of Boston Edison Co. for over 38 years. Former professional baseball player for the Boston Braves. Inducted into the Boston Park League Hall of Fame, Class of 1984. Donations in Joe’s memory may be made to Marian Manor Nursing Home, 130 Dorchester St., South Boston, MA 02127. Interment in Mt.
