DRISCOLL Joyce Mitchell Driscoll, 74 years, of Wells Beach, died very peacefully January 8, 2016 at her home with her loving daughter at her side. Joyce was born May 10, 1941 in Boston, MA, a daughter of John and Nellie (Yurawicz) Mulilis. Joyce has owned the Beachcomber in Wells for the last 15 years. She was the smartest and strongest woman her family knew. She loved the beach and enjoyed travelling to Key West with her husband, Kevin. Later in life, she enjoyed travelling with her friend, Robert. She was a fan of Jeopardy and The Big Bang Theory. She enjoyed gambling at Foxwoods occasionally and would purchase scratch tickets from time to time for fun. Most importantly, Joyce loved her family. Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Kevin Driscoll in 2011; brother, John Paul Mulilis as well as her parents. Joyce is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Susan Renaud-Mitchell and her spouse, Nancy, of Merryville, TN, Patti Mitchell and Felix St. Augustine of San Rafael, CA and Carol Schmitt and her husband, Bruce of Wells; her son, John F. Mitchell of Everett, MA; nine grandchildren, Jessie, Sarah, Raymond, Justin, Liz, Kate, Devin, Jenni and Cheryl Ann; and one great granddaughter, Kairi. Friends may visit on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 4:00-6:00pm at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 111 Chapel Road, WELLS, ME. A funeral service will follow at 6 pm at Bibber Memorial Chapel with the Very Reverend Thomas Murphy from Holy Spirit Parish. Interment will follow later in the summer at Ocean View Cemetery.
