DEVLIN Julie (Byrnes), 51, of Stoughton, formerly of South Boston, suddenly, while visiting Washington, DC. April 29, 2013. Devoted mother of Christopher J. Byrnes, Michelle L. Devlin of Stoughton and the late Patrick M. Devlin. Companion, as well as best friend of, Mark Ferretti of Norton. Beloved daughter of the late Walter and Mary (McDonough) Byrnes. Loving sister to her twin brother Walter Byrnes, his wife Susan of Wakefield, Marie Laundry, her husband Wayne of South Boston, Brian Byrnes of Dorchester, Paula Byrnes, her partner Cathy Carlton of TX, Ellen Hartrey of Wakefield and the late Karen Byrnes. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Julie was a devoted mother and lived for her children. A bright light in the center of her families universe, a source of warmth and comfort for all fortunate enough to have come to know her. Julie's sense of humor and ease of laughter filled the space around her and brought joy to her family, many friends and coworkers. Visiting hours will be in the O'Brien Funeral Home, 146 Dorchester St., SOUTH BOSTON, Sunday from 3:00-8:00 P.M. Funeral Mass in Gate of Heaven Church, 615 East Fourth St., South Boston, Monday at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Patrick M. Devlin's memory to MADD of MA, 15 New England Executive Park, Burlington, MA 01803.
