SHAW Kathleen (Keresey), 57, of Dorchester MA, passed away unexpectedly on October 11, 2014 with her family by her side. Born on 01/26/1957 in East Hartford, CT to Henry F. & Elizabeth (Clement) Keresey, raised and educated in Gardner, Ma. She was a long time resident of East Boston where she worked at Meridian House as a drug and alcohol counselor until her declining health. She most recently moved to Dorchester where she resided with her loving companion Terris Macklin of 15 years. Kathleen was a quirky, fun, compassionate, loving lady with a great sense of humor. She was an animal lover and would go out of her way to save any strays or abused animals she came across. She was dedicated to her children and grandchildren whom she loved very much. She will be deeply missed. She is survived by her loving mother Elizabeth Keresey of Salem, her uncle James Keresey and his wife Stella of Gardner, her daughters, Nichola Gagne of Danvers, Danielle Hall of Milford, Theresa Danskin and her husband Sean of Milford, a son Jason Gagne of Arizona, her sister and friend Anne Tyler of Danvers, a dear and loving brother Gary Keresey and his wife Margaret of Raymond NH, her nephews Keith Tyler, his wife Katie, and his daughter Emily, of Reading, Jack Keresey of Washington, nieces Allison and Shannon Keresey of California, her cherished grandchildren, Taylor Paquette, Alexia Gagne, Anna Benjamin, Tyreke Benjamin, Joshua Danskin, and the love of her life, Terris Macklin of Dorchester. She was pre-deceased by her father, Henry F. Keresey of Salem, and her brother Mark Keresey of California. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Kathy’s name to North Shore Animal Hospital, 1 Neptune Boulevard, Lynn MA. 01902 A service will be held at J.B. Johnson Funeral Home 196 Warren Street, ROXBURY and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 20 from 11:00 AM-12:00noon with the service immediately following.
