FRASER Kenneth E., 69, of Milford passed away Sunday June 28, 2015 in Beth Israel Hospital, Boston, after a long struggle with Cardiac related issues. He was the husband of Karen M. (Anderson) Fraser, and was the friend of many...he made an impression with everyone he has ever met. Ken had worked for The Boston Garden from 1967- 1970 in the group sales office, after that he became the Boston Bruins Business Manager for the AHL Farm Team, The Boston Braves until 1975. Following this he was employed as a statistician in the Publicity Office of The Boston Bruins until 1995. After working with the Bruins he moved to work in the Meter Reading Dept., Building and Grounds Dept., and Stockroom at ComGas in Southborough, MA until 2005. He continued to be employed as a game night, off-ice official by the National Hockey League from 1995 to his passing. He was born August 3, 1945 in Cambridge, the son of the late Alastair Fraser and Margaret Fraser (Forknall) Campbell both of Wellesley. He was also predeceased by his step-father, Howard Campbell. Ken was raised in Wellesley and graduated from Wellesley Senior High School, class of 1963 and spent two years at Nicholas College. Kenny and his wife have resided in Milford since 1978 and recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on June 28. He enjoyed traveling and RV camping; in 2012 along with his wife Karen, they took a cross country trip, traveling 10,000 miles in the Motorhome they owned. They took annual trips to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where they each enjoyed their time in the Keweenaw and Lake Superior. There were also trips to Florida in the winters to visit friends and he loved to go to Wolfeboro, NH where he spent his summers as a child, attending Trinity Church Camp. He took pleasure in reading and tending to his vegetable garden, and loved following New England Sports, including the Boston Bruins, N.E. Patriots, and Red Sox. Kenny had a fantasy baseball group that he was passionate about; having started it several years ago. In addition to his wife, Karen, he is survived by his brother, Douglas A.
