CHAMBERS Larry A. of Brighton passed away at home on May 17, 2015. Born Aug. 27, 1953 in Hamilton, Ohio to Amelia Riddick and raised by Margaret Donovan of Allston. Brother of Antonina Racki of Oxford, Sharon Zirpolo of Boston and Howard Chambers, Jr. of Malden. Dear friend of Mary Ciannavei and he loved the company of his mini dachshund Bridget. Loving Grandson of the late Antonina Battersby. Also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visiting Hours in the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home 63 Chestnut Hill Avenue (nr. Brighton Courthouse), BRIGHTON Thursday May 28 from 6:00 P.M. 8:00 P.M. Followed by a Service at 8:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment Massachusetts National Cemetery. Army Veteran and served many years in the armed forces as a photo and layout specialist and radio operator. He received medals for his overseas service, NCO professional development ribbon and sharpshooter badge. Larry was educated at Margaret Gifford Jr. High School Cambridge, Thompson Island Academy, Boston and Krabbenlock Ludwigsburg West Germany. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Larry may be made to the Perkins School for the Blind 175 North Beacon Street Watertown, MA 02472.
