EVANS Linda M. (Donahue) 68, of Franklin, died peacefully, at her home, Friday December 13, 2013 surrounded by her family, following an illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis L. “Buddy” Evans Boston Police Department. Born June 1, 1945 in Quincy, a daughter of the late Thomas F. and Pearl V. (Harris) Donahue, she was a former longtime resident of Brockton before moving to Franklin in 1992. She was raised and educated in Boston schools and worked as an administrator at Wheelock College in Boston, before her retirement. She treasured time spent with her family and grandchildren, and enjoyed traveling. Linda is survived by her children; David T. Evans and his wife Susan of New Jersey, James J. Evans of Franklin and Tracy A. Pitts and her husband Michael of Lakeville, two brothers, Thomas F. Donahue of Charlestown and Michael J. Donahue of Jamaica Plain. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is the mother of the late Peter W. Evans and sister of the late Nancy E. Donahue. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Tuesday December 17, at 9:00 A.M. from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage Street, FRANKLIN, with a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Church Square, Franklin at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
